1. Who we are

OMNi DAW is a free Digital Audio Workstation developed by Tomasz Głuc. The software is provided free of charge; the source code is proprietary and not publicly available. This website (omnidaw.com) serves as the project's public landing page and news hub. We do not operate as a company and do not collect data for commercial purposes.

2. Data we collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate this website:

  • Contact form submissions – If you send us a message via the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message content. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with any third party.
  • Server logs – Like all web servers, our hosting provider (cba.pl) may log standard request metadata (IP address, browser type, page visited, time of request). We do not control or access these logs directly.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We prioritize user privacy and minimize data storage:

  • Essential Local Storage: We use localStorage solely to remember your theme (dark/light) and consent preferences. This data never leaves your device and is not shared with any third party.
  • Direct Sponsorships: We display direct, self-hosted promotional banners (such as for our own instruments like TOMiC, or vetted audio technology partners). We do not use third-party advertising networks, tracking beacons, or cross-site tracking cookies.

4. Third-party services

This website loads fonts from Google Fonts. This means Google's servers receive your IP address when fonts are requested by your browser.

Links to external services (YouTube, Discord, GitHub, Suppi) are provided for your convenience. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external services.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we have collected (i.e., contact form submissions). To exercise these rights, please contact us using the form on the main page.

6. Contact

For any privacy-related questions, please use the contact form on the main page.
